Eureka is full of smart and interesting people who like to do what's best for their health and the environment. We are here to provide eco-conscious salon services, health and beauty products, houseplants, and educational and inspirational products and new and used books for your home.
We are excited to be the first salon in Eureka to offer O&M haircolor, created by stylists who have experienced sensitivities due to over exposure to traditional haircolor chemicals. O&M is free from ammonia, PPD, and resourcinal, as well as being vegan and gluten free while still successfully covering grey and creating beautiful blondes. House of Nice also offers luxurious water free pedicures.
House of Nice is a welcoming place for all kinds of people to enjoy the simple pleasure of getting a haircut, buying a book or magazine, welcoming a new houseplant into their life, or simply sitting and reading. It is important to us to maintain a space of kindness and community for ourselves and all of our clients.

New Procedures for appointments
The state guidelines have changed, and masking is no longer required
Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear masks indoors, if you still feel more comfortable wearing a mask, that is great, I will continue wearing a mask while I am with clients for now. For the health and safety of all of our clients I have to request that unvaccinated individuals continue to wear masks to their appointments. I will have masks available if you need one. Please be courteous and reschedule if you are having any symptoms of Covid-19, or any other illness.

House Plants
There is just no reason not to have a beautiful house plant in every room of your home. We cultivate and propagate a variety of houseplants, and we would just love to share them with you.

All of our plants are at different stages of life and are a variety of shapes and sizes. Pricing depends on how big and luscious they are, as well as how difficult they are to propagate.
